Paneer Butter Masala - No Cream - Home style :)



INGREDIANTS:


1. Paneer - 200 Gms

2. Onion  - 2 Nos.
3. Tomato - 2 Nos.
4. Chili Powder - 1 tbs.
5. Coriander Powder - 1/2 tbs.
6. Salt - to taste
7. Garam Masala - 1 tbs
8. Cumin seeds - for seasoning
9. Kasturi Methi - 1tsp
10. Curry Leaves - for seasoning
11. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
12. Milk - Thick Boiled - 1/2 cup
13. Water - 1/2 cup
14. Oil - 4 tbs
15. Butter - 1tsp


PREPARATION:
1. Fry cut Paneer in non stick pan with little oil added. Keep aside.

2. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds
3. Now add the chopped onion, ginger garlic paste and tomatoes one by one 
4. Fry until onion and tomatoes gets cooked.
5. Add chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala and salt

6. Add 1/2 cup of water and cook for 10 to 15 mins
7. To the mixture add fried paneer, thick boiled milk, cook for 10 mins
8. Add Butter and Kasturi Methi before switching off the stove.

Ven Pongal




INGREDIANTS:

1. Rice - 1 cup
2. Yellow split dal - 1/2 Cup
3. Oil - 3 tbs
4. Pepper - for seasoning
5. Cashews - for seasoning
6. Cumin seeds - for seasoning
7. Ginger - Grated for seasoning
8. Curry Leaves - Chopped for seasoning
9. Green Chili - Chopped for seasoning
10. Coriander - Chopped for seasoning
11. Asofoetida - a pinch
12. Salt - to taste
13. Turmeric - a pinch
14. Ghee - 3 tbs
15. Water - 4 Cups



PREPARATION:

1. Pressure cook Rice & Dal with Water, Salt, Oil & turmeric added.
2. For seasoning, heat green in a pan, add pepper, cumin seeds, cashews, ginger, chili, asofetida, coriander leaves & curry leaves.
3. Now mix cooked rice & dal with the seasoned mixture.

Onion Pakoda



INGREDIENTS:

Gram Flour - 2 Cups
Onion - 2 Nos. Chopped
Green chillies - 3 No.
Garlic pods - 3 Nos. crushed
Cashews - 10 gm crushed
Curry leaves Chopped
Coriander leaves chopped
Mint leaves (Optional) - Chopped
Chilli Powder - 1/2 spoon
Salt
Asofoetida -a Pinch
Oil
Water - 2 spoons

PREPARATION:

(1)Mix all the ingredients with 2 spoons of oil and water added
(2)Fry the mixture in hot oil
(3)Fry until they turn brown.
